Hi,

I am Charlie Presler, president of Prodigy Machine Corp. and inventor of the stitch regulator and the Prodigy Quilter.  I would like to thank you for visiting our web site.  We will continue to grow our site by adding new products, information and articles to read.  I am always open to suggestions for making this site better, so please email me and let me know what you think.  Now, here is a little history lesson on Prodigy Machine Corp.

From our beginning in 1994, and our introduction of the Prodigy Quilter in 1996, Prodigy Machine Corp. has blossomed into a leading manufacturer and supplier of high technology equipment for the home textiles industry. Prodigy's extensive product line ensures its machinery is used in all facets of the home textile industry. Over the years, our products have earned their excellent reputation through proven reliability and low maintenance requirements while yielding high quality production and a strong emphasis on operator safety. We offer our customers a stock inventory of replacement parts. Best of all, our staff of technicians are only a phone call away to ensure excellent customer service before, during, and after your purchase. We pride ourselves on the fact that we build the simplest machinery to do the best job in the least amount of time with the fewest problems.

Over the past few years we have had our wonderful machine duplicated by several other manufacturers.  They have not built their pirated machines to the high standards that we do here at Prodigy.  I would ask you to be very careful and be sure of what you are buying before spending your hard earned money on these duplicates.  Just remember that we built them first and formost to enable you to get a great machine at a fair price, and make a little money for ourselves too.  We designed our baby from scratch to accomplish something no other manufacturer could do then, nor can do now, and that is to give you the best and most accurate stitching available, the best machine available, and the best customer support available.  And if that isn't enough, our machines are engineered and manufactured in the greatest country in the world, the United States of America.  I just don't care if we can earn more by having them built overseas, I am going to keep our people employed by building them right here. Period.

So I ask you, wouldn't it be wise to have the original and the best by acquiring a Prodigy.  You just can't go wrong.

Something to ponder:  Remember when you drove all the way to the hardware store to have a key duplicated.  The person copied the key, inspected it thoroughly, compared it to the original and then handed it back saying "that should work."  After getting all the way back home, you found out it wouldn't open the lock.  But the key guy said it was the same.  Just remember, certain engineered tolerances just can't be duplicated if you don't know what to look for in the first place.  Why take the chance?  Just something to ponder.
